The memory performance varies according to each motherboard automatically selected secondary timings. The Asus Extreme Striker II had the highest performance in the memory write/reading tests, while the Asus Maximums Extreme got the first place in the memory copy subtest.

Although all motherboards performed well here, the P5E3 Premium (X48) showed a more consistent overall performance.

The X38 and X48 chipsets seem to rule the competition, especially at the CPU tests. The Asus Extreme Striker II gave a higher performance in the memory tests.
