Nero previews Nero Mobile, a new mobile multimedia center for Smartphones and personal digital assistants (PDAs), at CeBIT 2006 (Hall 2, Booth B20). Nero Mobile allows users to browse, play and organize media (Photos, Audio and Video clips) on a mobile phone or a PDA by streaming content from a home media center (e.g. Nero MediaHome) over the UPnP protocol. With it, users can also enjoy online Internet radio and TV broadcasts on their hand-held devices.

Nero Mobile supports latest codecs supported by Nero Digital, including MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 Video and High Efficiency AAC v2 Audio, MP3, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 SP/ASP, Ogg Vorbis and many more.

Nero Mobile is also optimized for the many hardware platforms powering modern mobile phones, such as Intel XScale, ARM, TI-OMAP and Freescale mx.21. Nero Mobile runs on Windows Mobile, Symbian OS and mobile Linux platforms.
