Netflix Coming two More Countries Through Global Distribution Deal With France's Orange
Netflix has inked a deal with France's telecom giant Orange to be available to its customers across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Poland will be the first rollout later this year, with other countries to follow in 2018. Netflix also renewed its agreement covering France, where the service has been available since 2014.
Orange is present in 29 countries, including Belgium, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Moldova, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia in Europe; Morocco, Egypt, Cameroon and Congo in Africa and Iraq and Jordan in the Middle East, among others. The telecoms giant has 269 million customers worldwide, including 207 million mobile customers and 19 million for its internet services.
