Primera Technology introduces ComposerMAX printer Autoloader

Primera Technology introduces ComposerMAX printer Autoloader

General Interest Mar 9,2002 0

Primera Technology, Inc., one of the world’s leading developers and manufacturers of CD/DVD disc duplication and printing equipment, today announced its ComposerMAX Printer Autoloader. Based upon the same robotic mechanism used in Primera’s popular Composer™ Optical Disc Duplicator, ComposerMAX automates the process of transporting discs into and out of a Primera CD/DVD Color Printer. Designed for unattended high volume operation, ComposerMAX’s robotic arm picks discs one at a time, places the disc in the printer and transports it to an output stack after printing. Up to 400 discs per job can be printed. Depending upon the graphics printed, ComposerMAX can produce up to 163 discs per hour.

“Thousands of tower-style duplicators have been sold over the past few years,” said Mark D. Strobel, Primera Technology’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Even though businesses may have a fast and convenient method for copying discs, many are still printing one disc at a time. But now, the new ComposerMAX Printer Autoloader can automate the printing process for just $5495 (MSRP) plus one of our ink-jet or thermal CD printers.”

Optional disc printers include the 1200 dpi Signature® IV CD Color Printer, which sells for US$1495 (MSRP), or the SignaturePro® CD Color Printer that prints at 2400 dpi and sells for US$1895 (MSRP). Or, for the fastest and most robust printing, the Inscripta™ Thermal CD Printer is available at US$2995 (MSRP).

Primera’s CD and DVD products are available in more than 85 countries from Authorized Primera Technology Resellers and Distributors. The products are also available from Primera Technology EUROPE in Wiesbaden, Germany.
