Primera Technology introduces new Composer XL® optical disc duplicator and lowers duplicator pricing
Primera Technology, Inc., today announced its new Composer XL Optical Disc Duplicator. Primera also announced new, lower pricing on its entire range of Composer Optical Disc Duplicators.
“We wanted to provide our customers with the best features of our award-winning Composer and ComposerPlus Optical Disc Duplicators,” says Mark Strobel, Primera’s VP of Sales & Marketing. “Now users will have the best of both worlds in the Composer XL Optical Disc Duplicator.”
The main features of Composer XL are:
Higher Capacity
Composer XL is an automated duplication system that can be configured for either CD-R or DVD-R. It duplicates and optionally prints up to 100 discs per job from any Windows®-based PC.
Faster Robotics
Robotic disc transport speed has increased 20% for faster production and increased throughput per hour.
Enhanced Software
Composer XL comes equipped with Sonic’s™ PrimoDVD™ 2.0 mastering and duplication software. Sonic has updated PrimoDVD 2.0 with an easy to understand user interface, serialization of discs, built-in disc labeling software and USB to parallel printing.
Automated Printing
A separate model without a recording drive called the Composer XL Printer Autoloader is also available. It automatically loads up to 100 blank or recorded optical discs at a time into and out of any Primera Technology SignaturePro®, Signature IV or Inscripta™ printer.
Lower Pricing

The Composer XL Optical Disc Duplicator and Printer Autoloader will now replace the Composer Optical Disc Duplicator, ComposerPlus Optical Disc Duplicator and Conductor Printer Autoloader.
