Samsung Halaxy S10 5G Coming on April 5
Samsung Electronics will launch the world's first fifth-generation (5G) smartphone Galaxy S10 5G on April 5.
"The Galaxy S10 5G models will be officially launched on April 5," said an official from the mobile phone maker, adding no pre-order reservations will be available.
"Samsung will offer its Galaxy Buds wireless earphones and a wireless charging package as well as a 50 percent discount coupon on screen replacement," the South Korean firm said.
Samsung introduced four variations of Galaxy S10 smartphones in February.
The S10 5G model has passed electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing by South Korea's National Radio Research Agency on Monday.
With this plan, Samsung will become the world's first phone maker to offer a 5G-enabled smartphone, just six days earlier than U.S. mobile carrier Verizon, which plans to launch its 5G smartphone on April 11.
The Galaxy S10 5G is estimated to retail for not less than $1,250.
