Scythe Fuma 2 CPU Cooler
4. Conclusion
The Scythe Fuma 2 is an interesting product that will fit in most medium PC cases without any problems. It has a slight different overall design as it is not centered directly above the CPU socket, but offset by inclined heatpipes. This asymmetrical design provides maximum space for the memory banks, which can be handy for serious RAM overclockers. Also the cooling fins of the second tower are aligned in such a way that even memory banks on both sides of the CPU socket can be operated without problems, without restricting the effectiveness of the heat sink.
The retail package is complete and will cover all your needs during its installation process, which at least for the AMD platform is very easy to do so. The package includes two 120mm fans that are very silent as also proved from our tests. The product supports almost all currently sold CPU sockets either from Intel or AMD, even down to LGA1366 and LGA775 sockets!
Passing to the tests area, this CPU cooler promises good performance and from our test results we can say we liked its overall performance for the price range. Under normal running operation for the AMD 5600X, temperatures were around 62 Celsius (under 100% load), while overclocking proved to at the same level as similar products from other manufacturers. Concluding this review, we have to say that the Scythe Fuma 2 is a solid product, has very good build quality and provided that you can find it around 50 Euros, we believe its a strong proposal for your cooling needs.
