Toshiba Launches NFC Built-in SDHC Memory Card

Toshiba Launches NFC Built-in SDHC Memory Card

Cameras Jan 8,2015 0

Toshiba is launching the first SDHC memory card with built-in NFC (Near Field Communication) functions, accompanied by an app that lets you see what is stored inside the card in your smartphone's screen. In order to find out what is stored inside SD memory cards, you usually need to put them into PCs or digital cameras. Toshiba's new memory card utilizes the features of NFC technology to exchange data simply with a touch. By holding an NFC-enabled Android smartphone, with the "Memory Card Preview"  installed, over the memory cards lets you preview the available storage space, as well as up to 16 thumbnails of the photos stored in the card.

Toshiba will start selling the new 8GB, 16GB and 32GB cards next month.
