Xiaomi announced an upcoming launch of a new device, expanding smart home line. The white cube-shaped Small Square Smart Camera is able to shoot full-HD video under poor lighting conditions or at night, capturing objects at a 9-meter distance. The square camera is very small at just 5×5×5 cm and weighs 100 g. It features smoke and carbon monoxide sensors to scan for signs of fire or leakage and stores full HD video footage on a micro SD 64 Gb card. The nigh shot mode can capture objects placed up to 9 meters away from the camera, taking advantage of the camera's advanced optics and a wide-angle lens (aperture f / 2.0, 110 degrees).

The camera can be mounted on any metal surface with a help of a stand.

An iOS and Android compatible Xiaomi app offers you access to the camera's control settings. Features include zooming configurations, time-lapse shooting mode and interaction with other devices.

A 10000 мАh power bank will keep the camera running when you are out of home for long periods. The included battery is able to offer power for up to 12 hours on a single charge.
