Plextor Ships 8x Blu-ray Combo Drive
Plextor unveils its latest combo DVD re-writer that also plays Blu-ray movies, the Plextor PX-B320SA.
The internal DVD drive for PCs uses a SATA connection. In addition, Plextor has added extra convenience by including LightScribe technology to enable custom text and designs to be printed/burned onto discs.
The PX-B320SA not only plays the latest Blu-ray movies, but is also a dual-layer DVD drive that combines multiple formats - DVD R/RW and RAM - into one. It can accept both 12cm and 8cm discs and has a 2MB buffer to ensure there is no data interruption.
