ARCHOS Unveils 50c And 50b Oxygen Smartphones
ARCHOS today announced two new Android-based smartphones, the Octo-Core ARCHOS 50c Oxygen and the ARCHOS 50b, priced at £179 and £129, respectively.
Their main difference is in their processors. The 50c models is powered by a a Mediatek MT6592 1.7GHz Octo-Core processor while the 50b packs a Mediatek MT6582 / Quad Core @1.3 Ghz chip. In addition, the 50b version is available with either 4GB or 8GB memory on-board, while the 50c lacks the 4GB option.
Both new Oxygen models feature 5-inch IPS HD screens, 8MP cameras with 1080p encoding and decoding and expandable memory with a micro SD cards upto 64GB. They also support dual-SIMs (H+ compatible), allowing users to have two phone numbers in the same phone. And of course, they also come with complete access to Google's ecosystem, including Google Play and its millions of applications.
