The Plextor PX-712UF dual format drive supports 12X DVD+R write, 8X DVD-R write, 4X DVD+RW rewrite, 4X DVD-RW rewrite, and 16X DVD-ROM read. In addition to recording, rewriting and reading DVD discs in dual formats, the PX-712UF supports 48X CD-R write, 24X CD-RW rewrite and 48X CD-ROM read speeds.
