"...Melco starts selling the first portable BURN-PROOF (8/8/8) CDR-W drive -"CRWU-PB88"- from March 2001. The drive has USB connection and it's price is around 41,500 Yen (354$). The attached CDR software is "WinCDR v6.0SE" and "MACcCDR v4.1" for MAC users. There are also planned several external colors for the drive :) Note that the announced PleXWriter "PX-S88T" also based in the above Melco USB drive...
