Nero is celebrating World Backup Day with two offers for their new Nero BackItUp suite for local and online backup. Nero BackItUp 2014 helps users protect files on their PCs, smartphones and tablets by automatically backing up files to secure locations, such as USB drives, Blu-rays or Nero's own online drive. As part of World Backup Day, Nero gives away 1 million "5 PRO" licenses, usually priced at $19.99/year:

- Automatic backups to local storage and the cloud (5 GB)
- Encryption and compression
- Sharing & Everywhere-Access for your files
- Usually priced at $19.99/year

Nero's "Unlimited PRO" plan offers unlimited online storage and backs up an unlimited number of mobile devices (Android, iOS or Windows Phone). For World Backup Day, Nero offers unlimited cloud storage for $49.99 (instead of $69.99/year). Unlimited Pro includes all benefits of "5 PRO" plus:

- Unlimited online storage: No file size limit, no storage limit, no hidden policy. Users can back up their entire digital life without running out of disk space.

- Unlimited mobile backup: Users can back up data from their smartphone or tablet to the cloud.
