Today we posted the reviews of two new DVD burners. Both Pioneer and TOSHIBA are members of the DVD Forum and their latest DVD recorders offer DVD-R/-RW among with CD-R/RW recording. Pioneer leads the race with 4X DVD-R and 2X DVD-RW, while TOSHIBA offers 2X DVD-R and DVD-RW burning speeds. The two drives are tested in our usual benchmarks and... - Pioneer DVR-A05: Pioneer enforces the establishment of the DVD-R/RW writers against the competition, with the further developement of the succesfull line DVD-R/RW recorders. The previous DVR-A04 is optimized and replaced with the new Pioneer DVR-A05, providing advanced features, high recording speeds for both CD/DVD formats and quality performance for the desktop user. How fast 4X DVD recording can be? - TOSHIBA SD-R5002: Another member of the DVD-R/RW forum developed a DVD recording solution for your everyday storage needs. Toshiba announced "SD-R5002" back is September 2002 model, making its entrance at the DVD recording race. The drive's specs were almost identical with the Pioneer's DVR-A04, making the direct comparison at least interesting...
