Pioneer Japan will start selling from end of September two new DVD-R/RW models with the codename: "DVR-A03-J", ATAPI built-in, and the external SCSI-2 "DVR-S303" model. The DVR-A03-J expected to cost around 80.000 Yen and the DVR-S303 110.000 Yen. Both drive support "DVD-R for General v2.0" and "DVD-RW v1.1» standards. The DVD writing speed is 2X (2,770KB/sec), the DVD-RW 1X (1,385kB/sec). At the CD format the drive supports 8x writing, 4x re-writing and 24x reading among with 4x DVD-ROM reading speeds.
