Sector 5 Releases the Affordable E3 Chromebook for Education, Business

Sector 5 is releasing its Sector 5 E3 Chromebook in the United States, a new device powered by an Intel quad-core processor with HD graphics packed in a rugged package.

The device uses an Intel Celeron quad-core processor with single core performance up to 2.2GHz and Intel HD graphics with 12 cores. It offers silent operation with no fans or air vents, and its stereo speakers are generating up to 87dB of high-fidelity audio.

The Sector 5 comes with an anti-glare 11.6-inch HD display with IPS technology, 10-point multi-touch, 16:9 1366x768 resolution, and an average of 220 nits brightness. Its 180-degree lay-flat hinge allows for collaboration and classroom settings.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5 at up to 867Mbps, Bluetooth 4.2, 2 USB-C ports, two USB 3.0 ports, and combo headphone/headset jack. The device also supports microSD cards, including microSDXC, offers a battery life of up to 10 hours and supports rapid charging 30W USB-C power delivery.

Mirroring and extending to external displays via Chromecast or USB adapters is also supported.

Ofcourse, the Sector 5 E3 Chromebook is running Chrome OS, providing access to apps on the Google Play Store.

The Chromebook is available for $315.00 (limited time, pre-orders only).
