Treo 750 Arriving on Monday
We reported last week that Palm would release the 750 at CES. New information on Engadget (along with lots of pictures) shows that the formal launch of the Treo 750 is set to go. This is a much anticipated release - it seems like we have been waiting for months for this to be official.
Customers will be able to purchase the 750 at Cingular retail stores, or Cingular or Palm's online stores on January 8th for $399 with two year service agreement (and $100 mail-in rebate). The reports are that the 750 will have the long awaited threaded messaging app and has a free HSDPA upgrade due in Q1H06. Why it doesn't support HSPDA out of the box like the sleeker and sexier Blackjack just doesn't make sense to me. The full array of pictures of the launch are on the Engadget web site at:
