"..The raw 'feature' has not been 'disabled', and there are no 'bugs' in our firmware with regards to raw writes. It's just that Plextor drives don't support the commands that programs like CloneCD want to use. Neither do 99% of the other CD-R recorders on the market!

Raw writes are not advertised or supported officially in any CD-R drive...there are some undocumented commands that some programmers are using, but almost no one supports them but a few specific model drives.

Plextor is in communication with Elaborate Bytes and other companies about making their sofware and our hardware work together and hope to announce compatibility between them in the future.
