Chinese telecom equipment maker Huawei on Sunday launched its first smartwatch, along with two new wearable devices, the B2 and N1. Huawei's all-metal, 42mm round-faced smartwatch works with Android phones. At an event tied to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the firm unveiled its Huawei watch line in classic, business and sporty versions.

The Huawei Watch is 42 mm in diameter, slightly larger than Motorola's rival, the Moto 360. It has a 286 ppi 1.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen (10,000:1 contrast ratio) and offers more than 40 customizable watch faces.

Features include a heart rate monitor, 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM, a 6-axis motion sensor and a a Qualcomm 1.2GHz processor.

Pairing the device with a smartphone running Android, users can receive text-message notifications, emails, calendar reminders or incoming phone alerts.

The watch is slated to arrive mid-June 2015. No word on pricing just yet.

Huawei also launched the second generation of a fitness tracking band, dubbed TalkBand B2, which allows the users to remove a wireless, Bluetooth earpiece to talk on their mobile phone.

Equipped with a 6-axis sensor, TalkBand B2's smart detection can automatically identify and record motions, detect the duration of deep sleep and light sleep, and provide consumers with health tips on sleep pattern. The device is also equipped with dual-microphone, noise reduction technology and Bluetooth connectivity. It also includes smart detection to understand whether the Bluetooth earpiece is on the wristband or not, allowing it to automatically push audio (music/call) to the smartphone or B2 bracelet. A pager is provided to locate your smartphone, through vibration or ring tone alerts.

The wrist-worn device can be detached and used as a regular Bluetooth in-ear headset. There?s also now a standard microUSB port for charging.

Huawei said that the B2 is good for 5 days of use between charges on your wrist, or 12 days on standby.

Activity is tracked via the TalkBand app ? available for Android and iOS devices ? and the band itself will be available in black, silver and gold from launch.

It?ll be available in 28 countries from the end of April.

The Huawei TalkBand N1 is the first Hi-Fi stereo + Bluetooth headset featuring 4G of local MP3 storage for 1,000 songs, Bluetooth calling, and sports tracking. Paired with a smartphone, TalkBand N1 is also a health and sports tracker with functionalities that include step counting, distance calculation, calorie consumption tracking, and more. It also carries a function that broadcasts the names or phone numbers of incoming calls.

The TalkBand N1 weighs a consumer friendly 18 grams, it is IP54 rated and has 4GB of storage on board for music tracks, which can either be sideloaded or synced via the app.

Huawei said that the N1?s 67mAh battery would keep it running for 3 days, or provide around 5 hours call time.

Its magnetic earbud design turns the TalkBand N1 from a headset to a necklace accessory.

The N1 will be available in gold, metallic grey and pink.

Huawei also unveiled at MWC the MediaPad X2 7-inch phablet, which comes in at only 7.28 mm thick and features an all-metallic body. Its borderless design of the screen offers a screen-to-body ratio of 80%, which makes it easy for single-handed operation.

The device is featuring a 7-inch ultra 1200 x 1920 HD IPS screen that provides a resolution up to 323ppi and a wide angle up to 178 degrees. It sports a 2.0GHz Kirin 930 ultra-octa chipset, supports LTE Cat6 connectivity with the download speed up to 300Mbps. Its 5,000 mAh battery manages to provide even the power user with one-day battery life.

Equipped with a 13MP rear camera, Huawei MediaPad X2 has good low-light shooting capabilities, post-shooting focus adjustment metering mode, off-screen quick snapping functionality, focus and exposure metering function. The 5MP front-facing camera has an aperture of F2.4 and a wide angle of 22mm, which is great for panorama selfies.

Huawei MediaPad X2 comes in two versions which both support dual-sim, namely the standard version of 2G RAM+ 16GROM in a moonlight silver body and the premium version with 3G RAM+ 32GROM in an amber gold body.
