Toshiba Introduces Windows 10 dynaPad Tablet, dynabook Notebooks
Today in Japan, Toshiba announced their dynaPad, a 2-in-1 Windows 10 computer that is the world's thinnest and lightest measuring just 6.9mm thin and weighing only 569g. The Japanese company also announced the dynabook N51, RX73, RX82, KIRA L93 and KIRA V83 / V72 / V63 notebooks. The dynaPad is a digital notebook, designed for creativity, and productivity. It features an ultra-thin keyboard dock and a high-precision pen. It’s designed to replicate the natural feeling of writing with a pen on paper – even mirroring a common-size notebook, for a very natural handwriting experience. The dynaPad employs metal mesh sensor technology, combined with a Wacom Active Electrostatics (ES) TruPen with 2,048 levels of pressure.
The dynaPad also includes updated versions of Toshiba’s suite of original business applications that enable users to collect, organize and share notes, images and files, including TruNote, TruCapture and TruRecorder, plus new TruNote Clip and TruNote Share apps for capturing screen clips and sharing handwriting in real time. The suite integrates with Microsoft Office for editing and collaboration. The tablet is also suited for both right- and left-handed users – apps like TruNote can adapt to either, allowing you to maintain a normal writing style no matter which hand you prefer.
The tablet features a 12-inch diagonal WUXGA+ (1920×1280) IPS display, with wide viewing angles and a dual-layer anti-reflection and anti-fingerprint coating.
The Toshiba dynaPad is available now for pre-order in Japan, expected to ship in December priced just over $1000. It will come to the US and Europe early in 2016.

New Windows 10 notebooks
Toshiba has also revamped is dynabook series of 13.3-inch and 12.3-inch notebooks, which will be available later this month. The devices run Windows 10 Home edition OS, they feature dual microphones, some of them support the new new high-resolution and SeeQVault technology and are powered by 14nm Intel Boradwell processors.
Starting with the Dynabook N51, it is a 11.6-inch ( 1,366 x 768 pixels) notebook and will retil in Japan for about ¥ 100,000. It is powered by a Braswell Celeron N3050 (2.16GHz, graphics) processor, has 4GB memory and a 500GB HDD. The available interfaces include USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI output, Ethernet, mini D-Sub15 pin, IEEE 802.11a / b / g / n / ac-enabled wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.
The Dynabook N51 weighs about 1.4kg and its battery life is about 4.6 hours.
The 13.3-inch (Full HD) Dynabook RX73 is equipped with a Blu-Ray optical disc drive and will retail in Japan in late Novemberfor about 160,000 Yen ($1335).
Compared to the previous version of the device, the new Dynabook RX73 is lighter at about 1.44kg and slimmer at 21.4mm. Under the hood there is a Skylake Core i5-6200U to CPU (2.3GHz, graphics core) CPU, 4GB memory, 1TB SSHD storage.
Toshiba will also offer a version equipped with a Core i3-6100U CPU (2.3GHz), standard HDD and a DVD Super Multi the optical drive.
Interfaces include USB 3.0 x 3, HDMI output, Gigabit Ethernet, mini D-Sub15 pin. The notebook's magnesium alloy case allows it to withstand a 76cm drop test and its battery will last for about 10 hours / charge.
The Dynabook RX82 is a 2-in-1 device, whioch easily transfroms from a notebook to a 12.5-inch Full HD tablet. It will hit the Japanese market in December for about 180,000 Yen ($1502).
The Dynabook RX82 packs a Skylake Core m3-6Y30 (900MHz, GPU) processor, a USB 3.1 Gen1 (Type-C) connector, IEEE 802.11a / b / g / n / ac-enabled wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4, a 5-megapixel rear camera and dual microphones.
The Dynabook L93 is another 2-in-1 device featuring a 13.3-inch wide LCD display (2,560 x 1,440 pixels). It will be released later this month for about 240,000 Yen ($2,000).
It uses a Core i7-5500U to CPU (2.4GHz, GPU), 8GB memory 8GB, 128GB SSD, IEEE 802.11a / b / g / n / ac-enabled wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4, a 5-megapixel rear camera.
Toshiba will also ship in Japan new Dynabook V83 KIRA notebook. Below are its main specs:
