The case is not big, indicating that the product aims for small PC case user.

Everything is well-boxed and comes secure to your home.

The Pure Base 501 is a small-sized PC case with a rather typical and minimal design. There is no ARGB lighting and you can have up to five different configurations, depending on color and side panel choice.

The case has 450 x 231 x 463mm dimensions and the Airflow Window Black version weights 7.16kg and supports ATX / M-ATX & Mini-ATX motherboards. The building material is steel, ABS, and glass (side panel).

At the back of the case, you will find at the left the PSU housing, the middle holds the motherboard backplate and at the right, you will find a pre-installed 140mm Pure Wings 3 fan. The case supports PSUs up to 180mm in length with or without the included HDD cage.

Inside at the box you will find several accessories
  • Screw set (Drives/Motherboard)
  • Additional standoffs (pcs.) 1
  • Cable ties (pcs.) 12

There is a lot of insulation pre-installed at the Pure Base 501, at the side panel, anti-vibration decoupled HDD, anti-vibration decoupled fan, anti-vibration decoupled PSU and Anti-vibration decoupled motherboard-tray. Removing the side glass panel (be careful) you will find good space to work with. There are two pre-installed 140mm Pure Wings 3 fans (one at the front and one at the back) that blow fresh air to the inside of the case. You can also install up to:

  • Top area: 2 X 140mm / 2 X 120mm
  • Front area: 2 X 140mm / 3 X 120mm
  • Rear: 1 X 140mm / 1 X 120mm

Due to small dimensions, you cannot fit three 140mm fans either at the top or the front panel. What about AIO coolers? You can use up to AIO 360 at the front panel, up to 240 at the top, and up to 140 at the rear. With normal air coolers, you can use up to 185mm height CPU coolers which is more than enough even for the biggest be quiet! Air cooler, the Dark Rock Elite. With graphic cards, you can use up to 368mm long VGA cards, which should be enough to hold even the biggest NVIDIA 4090 GPUs. Note that vertical graphic cards can also be used with a special adapter (sold separately). With storage, you can fit up to 5x 2.5" and up to 2x3.5" HDDs at the back panel.

The used Pure Wings 3 PWM fans are a good choice of performance/noise ratio and the exact specifications are shown below:
