2. Retail Package
Passing to the retail package...You can find the product around 114 Euro (including VAT) according to the be quiet! press release. The Pure Power 11 FM series are middle category power supplies, with pricing in mind but also good performance. The retail package is well designed and includes at the front all the needed information for users.
Everything is well packaged. There is a printed manual inside and the main PSU is wrapped around plastic bubble bag.
Several modular cables are included. The 24pin cable uses round braided design, while all other cables have flat low-profile
The power supply has a matte black finish like most of the tested power supplies we have recently have seen at our labs. All the edges are not sharp, so you can handle it without any worries. The rear has a honeycomb design, that helps lower PSU's internal temperature, since drives the produced hot air out of the case.
At the back we can find the power ratings of the product
The power supply is fully modular for less cabling inside the case
There is an 120mm fan with low noise levels. be quiet! says that the fan is thermally governed to strike the best balance between effective cooling and quietness. Airflow-optimized fan blades reduce turbulence, enabling best-in-class quiet functionality and the almost inaudible operation.
The power supply has two +12V rails with two rails getting 36Amps and 32Amps output. The +5V boosts 20A, while the +3.3V rail 20A. Lastly, the +5VSB gives another 3A. The dual rail design for sure would be ideal for sudden high load scenarios even in general single rail 12V are better.
Unpacking the various connectors we find various flat cables with good overall length that can be used in all modern medium sized PC cases. In case of a big case you might need cable extenders.
