LaCie to ship dual 8x DVD±RW drive

LaCie launches the new LaCie d2 Dual 8x DVD±RW Drive. The LaCie Dual DVD±RW Drive features write speeds of 8x and rewrite speeds at 4x. Featuring a FireWire and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connection, LaCie’s Dual DVD±RW Drive can be used while connected to any PC or Mac computer. The retail package includes the latest versions of Easy CD & DVD Creator for PC users and Toast for Macintosh users, allowing DVD video authoring for both platforms.

The LaCie Dual DVD±RW Drive is available January, 2004 through authorized resellers, specialty stores and mail order partners with prices beginning at £147. Drives ship with a USB 2.0 and FireWire cable, a power adapter, and DVD utilities CD-ROM.
