19. Conclusion
In order to test PureRead 4+, first we used the ABEX TCD-714 and with the Pioneer drive and the EAC Secure function we ripped the "secure" audio contents of the Audio CD. Then by using both Abex TCD-721 and TCD-726 test discs with the Pioneer drive and ripping them with EAC BURST function we got several files that we will be compared afterwards with the DeltaWave Audio Null Comparator to check how many differences are and they will audible for end users. Lastly, we used the Nero CD-DVD Advanced DAE Tests to check how PureRead 4+ affects the overall score or not.
The Pioneer PureRead 4+ function can be disabled with the Pioneer BD Drive Utility, enable it at Perfect Mode or Master Mode (+ Real Time Pure Read).
Scanning the ABEX TCD-726 with the build-in CD-Check function of the Pioneer BD Drive Utility, gives us a first look of what condition the disc is. The software lists the disc's quality as D (Bad condition - The disc might not be played back in some CD players), while lists as quality B tracks 02, 03, 04, 05, as quality C tracks 06, 07 and as quality D tracks 09,10,11 and 12 and indicates that the Pure read function can be helped to recover the ORIGINAL SOUND condition by duplicating the disc.
- Perfect mode:No incorporation and duplicate a disc with the complete ORIGINAL SOUND condition.
- Master mode:Some part might be incorporated during the disc duplication.
- Master mode + Real Time Pure Read function enable to play back the ORIGINAL SOUND without duplication.
Using the ABEX TCD-726 with Nero CD-DVD Speed gives us some first results.

Lets see how each software setting handles each specific track after running each track with DeltaWare software. Note that the higher the PK Meter the better, since above -160dBFS human eye could hear noises/clicks/distortion.

The PureRead 4+ Perfect mode seems to product the "worst" results since it returns a huge unreadable spike, in its effort to perfect read the disc.. So if you are unsure of its use, better leave it off. All three rest modes seem to produce exactly similar results.
Passing to 9th track we will see our first major differences.

Again the Perfect PureRead 4+ mode seems to product unreadable and huge spikes, giving the worst possible results. The best performance came from EAC BURST + PureRead 4+ Master mode with almost 100% accurate samples and the lowest audible noise/spikes you will hear from all above modes.
Lets now examine how the drive performed with the 10th & 11 Tracks.

With both tracks, the EAC BURST function didn't produced accurate results with audible noise spikes, while the PureRead 4+ seems to helped a lot producing accurate results with no noise, very good performance.

As we saw from the above tests, in all cases the Pioneer PureRead 4+ and especially the Master mode (no real time) helped to get almost perfect results with full ripping speed. The PureRead 4+ Perfect mode, shouldn't be used with scratched/defected discs, since it will cause unreadable errors and the extraction will probably stop. The PureRead 4+ Master Real Time Pure Read function is interesting if you simply wish to listen a minor scratched discs without worrying so much about the final outcome.
In all cases, the EAC still is a powerful software and will rip contents of a disc, even as is the Abex TCD-726 with its secure function, which produced accurate results, however you sacrifice very low reading speeds (down to 1.5~2X).
