Silicon Image has made availabile the first 4K Ultra HD MHL 3.0 receiver featuring support for HDCP 2.2, the latest High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection technology that protects digital motion pictures, TV programs and audio against copying. DTVs, projectors, and A/V receivers that include the Silicon Image SiI9679 MHL 3.0 receiver are able to securely receive 4K Ultra HD commercial entertainment content protected under HDCP 2.2 technology.
