As with all Waitec drives, Storm 40 is equipped with Safe Link technology which makes buffer under run errors practically impossible despite the extremely high recording velocity. Storm 40 is the perfect solution for frequent, ultra-fast and error-free archiving or exchanging of large data volumes. Storm 40 works with Win9x, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and of course Windows XP. The firmware is stored in Flash ROM, making future upgrades convenient. The ideal burn speed is determined for each individual CD and adapted where necessary.
