The next media has a no-brand and has the MBI 01RG40 media ID code. You might find TDK branded media with the same ID code.

This time, two drives didn't recognized the inserted media, the Pop-up (Optiarc AD-7560A) and the Cocopa ECD813-Y (TSSTcorp SN-208AB) and got an overall 0 score.

After the burn process, we tried to read the burned disc with the same drive and wrote down their average reading speed.

Again we noticed that the Rioddas BT-638 (PLDS DA8A5SH) didn't recognized the media it just burned...not very good result, which might indicate burn issues later, we will see.. After many hours measuring all discs we have our burn quality results.

The drives with the lowest PIE/PIF error rates are expected to get higher score points even they burn slower a disc. After all we all want perfectly readable discs.

With the NoName (TDK) 16X DVD-R media the best overall results (writing/reading/burn quality) came again from the HLDS PortableDVD (HLDS GP96Y) and very close we find another HLDS based drive this time in the Rodzone A11-SU3 (HLDS GT50N) enclosure. Two drives got zero score since they didn't recognized the inserted media...
